Surgery

Two weeks ago we were up at Dartmouth for River's fundoplication surgery. The day before surgery we went up for pre-op and stayed at David's House. We really love it there. His surgery was at 7:30 the next morning. Everything went smoothly. We spent 2 nights in the hospital

River was very sleepy after surgery, resting mostly in our arms. He had an epidural placed in surgery, and we think it probably helped with his pain after surgery.


His tiger friend waits for him to awaken.


This is River's first meeting with his new tiger friend. The tiger was part of the decor in the Lion Room at David's House. River and he bonded so well that they let us take him home.
