Family Vacation?! Part 1

Wednesday we drove to Boston Children's Hospital for River's EEG. Until we arrived I had been thinking of it as a family vacation. We brought scrabble, movies, toys, and cookies. However, River knew better. Here are some pictures documenting the beginning of the so-called vacation.

The morning we left River developed a rash, starting on his cheek, and quickly covering his entire body. The hospital figured it was viral, basically nothing to be worry about, probably part of his recent upper respiratory infection. This is the last view we'll get of his luscious locks for a couple days.

This is a good representation of how our vacation started. 25 leads glued meticulously to his head, with a 12 foot leash. A not so happy River.

Fortunately he calmed down easily afterwards, while we admired his new look.

Even princesses need to sleep.

By now he has a reputation for his ability to get out of his head wraps. This is his third wrap of the day.
