Pre-Op

The day before the surgery we had an appointment to discuss the surgery. The nurse weighed and measured River, took his vital signs, and then we met with the surgeon and his team of imbeciles (one resident, 2 students and a nurse practitioner). We didn't know they were imbeciles at the time; it wasn't until after the surgery that this became apparent. River slept through the entire appointment.

Finally, he wakes up after the appointment for a bottle. He and his Mama wore their matching shirts for the occasion.
