The day before
We traveled up to Dartmouth the day before the scheduled surgery in order to meet the surgeon. We stayed at David's House, a huge house set up for families with children in the hospital. It was built in honor of a little guy with Cancer who saw other families with no place to stay when their kids were in the hospital. It was very special to be there with River.
